Q: I'm really out of shape! Will I be able to keep up in classes?
A: The pace of our classes is controlled by the individual taking the class, so it's possible for anyone at any fitness level to participate. Coaches are there to ensure that you exercise safely while working toward your fitness goal.
Q: I'm not very coordinated. Will I be able to do the boxing in class?
A: Everyone feels uncoordinated when they first start training, and everyone has their own pace for learning new things. The trainers and coaches at 12 Rounds will teach you the basics at your own pace, and then help you progress to more advanced skills.
Q: Am I too old to start boxing training?
A: The only serious restrictions are medical conditions or pre-existing injuries. Other than that, age is only a barrier if you let it be we have older members who come in to train regularly. No matter what your age, you are the expert on your own body. If you listen to your body and start slowly, you will build up strength and really benefit from all that boxing training can offer and be in the best shape of your life!
Q: How do I join? Do I have to sign a contract?
A: There are several membership options available, and we accept members from 18 to 110 years old. We are very committed to finding the right plan for you, so please don't hesitate to ask us more about the different plans available. There are no complicated contracts to sign - it's a very simple process.
